About me
I’m Rory. I design, write and look after websites for glamping sites and holiday lets, so their owners can get back to hosting.
Why glamping sites.
My family owns a small shepherd’s hut in the Welsh Marches. I know how much goes into making a place feel special, and how much there is to keep on top of behind the scenes.
I built Millie the Hut’s website with that in mind. It gave the hut a way to take bookings directly, alongside its Canopy & Stars listing, and brought in 42 direct bookings in its first year.
Now I do the same for other owners. Glamping Web Design is a one-person business, based in Herefordshire and working with glamping and holiday let owners across the UK.
Before glamping, I built and wrote Patagonia Scout, a travel-planning website that reached over 10,000 visitors a month within three months of going live. The same mix of useful words and a well-built site is what gets a holiday let found.

One person, start to finish
You talk to the person who designs your site, writes the words, connects your booking system and makes your updates later on. Nothing gets lost in a handover.

Booking systems, synced calendars, listing sites and seasonal pricing are the everyday work here, not a special request.

Every page is there to help a guest decide and book. If something doesn’t help with that, it doesn’t go in.
